The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for the position of Part-time Bailiff/Security Officer. The schedule includes weekday hours varying from 7 AM – 4:30 PM. The starting wage is $15.00 hourly. The job’s summary is primary security for the Clinton County Law Center, Courthouse and Administration Building. Bailiff/Security Officer’s priority is to provide safety and security during business hours of county buildings.
Applicants must be 18 years of age, hold a valid state driver’s license, either be a high school graduate, hold a GED or (HiSET) High School Equivalency Test certificate, be a U.S. citizen, has been certified by a state law enforcement academy as a peace officer or reserve. Military police training is acceptable in lieu of a state peace officer certification. Applicants do not need to be a resident of Iowa to apply.
