Clinton County Employment Application
Clinton County is currently accepting applications to hire a part time summer employee for the approximate timeframe of May through October of 2020.
The position is a mower tractor operator within the Secondary Road Department. The position involves operation of a tractor and mower utilized for the mowing of County roadway shoulders. Applicants will be required to operate equipment safely and complete minor repairs and maintenance on the equipment. Pay will be $15 per hour.
Applications are being accepted at the Clinton County Engineer’s Office at 1900 North 3rd Street, Clinton, Iowa, 52733, through March 30, 2020. HS/GED and Iowa Drivers License required (EEO/AA).

Clinton County has an opening for a Full Time Mechanic in DeWitt.
Successful applicants will possess a Valid CDL Driver’s License, Have a High School Diploma or G.E.D (Associates in Diesel Mechanic and Technology preferred), and have two (2) years of experience doing heavy equipment repair or two (2) years of formal training on heavy equipment repair.
