The Clinton County Sheriff now accepts certain payments online through GovPayNow.com. Use the links below to make payments for Civil Fees, Gun Permits, and Other Sheriff's Fees. Please note NO payments for jail related items are accepted through this portal.
Currently the Clinton County Sheriff's Office provides police protection for eleven of the incorporated towns within Clinton County. The general duties of the Sheriff also include overseeing the service of civil documents; housing, custody and transporting of inmates for all agencies within the county; providing security in the Clinton County Courthouse; and special investigation of any alleged criminal activity.
U.S. Immigration and Custom Enforcement (ICE), Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), is committed to protecting the public, and ensuring the rights of victims are carefully observed. The Victim Notification Program allows eligible victims and witnesses to obtain information regarding a criminal alien's release from custody. Victims and witnesses are required to register with this agency in order to receive this information. Iowa State Victim Notification Service
The IowaVINE system is a service through which victims of crime can use the telephone or internet to search for information regarding the custody status of their offender and to register to receive telephone and email notification when the offender’s custody status changes. The toll-free number for IowaVINE is 888-7-IAVINE or 888-742-8463. This service is provided to assist victims of crime who have a right to know about their offender’s custody status.
