Human Resource Director
The Human Resource Director serves under the Clinton County Board of Supervisors. The Human Resource Director sets the strategic direction for the Human Resource Department that aligns with the County’s goals. Director of all human resource functions including negotiating and administering labor contracts; developing, revising and administering job classifications and compensation plans; makes recommendations on all employee benefit programs; recruiting, hiring and retaining qualified candidates; and develops policies and administers equitable employment practices. The Human Resource Director will also oversee the payroll and benefits administration. The position demonstrates a commitment to a customer-centered culture that values a positive, supportive workplace. The position oversees the management of any staff within the Human Resource Department.
Qualified applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in human resources, labor relations, industrial relations, or business administration/management. Applicants should also have three-year’s experience in human resources, primarily in a generalist role.
