Real Estate Transaction Program

Upon receipt of a completed, prepaid application from the buyer/sellers, lending institutions, and real estate agents, the Health Department:

  1. provides written reports regarding the condition of existing sewage systems and/or water supplies serving properties involved in real estate transactions

  2. provides inspections and sampling of these systems

The inspection of a septic tank requires both the inlet and outlet lids be uncovered and the tank pumped by a licensed septic tank hauler.

Well and/or Septic Inspection $300.00

(to be paid with the application and both are to be given to the sanitarian before the inspection)
