Clinton County, Iowa is seeking an individual to serve as Clinton County’s Planning and Zoning Director.
The Director’s position is responsible for the day to day administration of the Planning and Zoning Office including research, evaluation, and presentation of a wide range of functional areas including present and future land use planning, economic development, zoning, building subdivisions, floodplain management, and special projects.
The successful applicant shall possess a degree from a four year accredited college or university with major course work in planning, engineering sciences, architecture, public administration, or a related field. Preference for two years of professional planning or zoning experience including the preparation/review of planning documents or equivalent training and/or experience.

The Clinton County Communications Commission is hiring for the position of Assistant Communications Manager.  The Assistant Communications Manager will assist the Communications Director with the day to day operations of the Communications/911 Center, as well as helping manage ongoing projects.  Starting salary is $49,025.  Applicants are required to have seven years of continuous experience as a 911 Telecommunicator and previous public safety communications supervisory experience.  Applications are available on this site or may be picked up at the Clinton County Law Center, 241 7th Ave N., Clinton.
