Clinton County Communications is seeking qualified applicants to form an eligibility list for the position of 911 Telecommunicator.  Duties include receiving information requiring law enforcement, fire and/or medical responses and transferring the information via radio and/or phone to proper emergency or non-emergency services. Applicant must be able to pass a thorough background check, physical, psychological exam, and drug screen.  Must have a working knowledge of the windows operating system; be able to type at least 30 words per minute.  Starting pay is $15.80/hour increasing to $19.75 after probation.  Please read the 911 Telecommunicator document for a complete job description.  Applications may be downloaded off of the website or picked up in person from the Clinton County Sheriffs Office 241 7th Ave North. Clinton County is currently accepting applications to fill a Motor Grader Operator position in Andover within the Secondary Road Department.  The position involves operation of heavy equipment and manual labor in performing all aspects of roadway construction and maintenance.  Applications are being accepted at the Clinton County Engineer’s Office at 1900 North 3rd Street, Clinton, Iowa, 52733, through February 27, 2015.  HS/GED and CDL required (EEO/AA).  Applications may also be submitted online.
