Mission and Vision Statements

Mission:

To provide Clinton County residents, businesses and industries,non-profit organizations, and local governments the education andsupport necessary to reduce the loss of life and human suffering; tominimize property damage; and to protect environmental sensitive areasfrom all types of disasters through a comprehensive, risk-based,all-hazard emergency management program.

Vision Statement:

The goal of the Clinton County EmergencyManagement Agency is to educate the Citizens of Clinton County abouttheir ongoing role in preparing for emergencies through education,community outreach and training.  Through creating an increased emphasison disaster preparedness, the Clinton County Emergency Management Agencylooks forward to reinforcing interdepartmental communications andcooperation throughout our County.  By creating a community culture ofpreparedness and fostering partnerships with local public and privategroups and businesses, it is our goal that Clinton County will work as acommunity, with neighbor helping neighbor, when a disaster strikes.
